A71 5G charging issues

Who else is having charging problems? Sometimes I have to reboot or power off the phone to get it to start charging. Or It can be plugged in.. not charging. But when it dies it will start to. I have tried literally everything as far as in dialer codes.. developer options.. cables.. boxes.. the only 2 options I haven't tried is software update which I refuse to do because I would like to unlock the bootloader. Or factory reset because I have done so much work into this phone.. :c

Have you attempted the "Wipe cache partition" and "Repair apps" options in Recovery Mode? Sometimes that can fix bugs like this. If you download SmartSwitch on a computer, you will be able to completely back your phone up and quickly restore everything. That might be an option to see if a factory reset could fix this as well.

Now that I think about it I had tried the wipe cache partition... but so far repair apps has been going strong today I feel like it may have done the job. Will come back if not 🙂 !! Thanks!

U could try holding down both volume buttons and the power button simultaneously and it will reset your phone
