After updating this version A515FXXU5EU12 / A5515FOLM5EUI2 / A515FXXU5EUI2 today, I noticed there were no sounds at all. By means, no sounds played out loud by music etc or no sounds heard during phone call too. I've checked, all the volume is high enough to listen to. Whenever it happens, I restarted my phone. And the condition improve for a while, then it returned back to no sound at all. I already restarted my phone for the third time. I noticed before no sound moments occurred, there was a kind of cracking sound in the speaker. I don't know what's triggering. Also noted that, there were no previous incidents of falling to the ground or in water, in case there you are considering physical damage to the speaker. These incidents only occurred today after the update, no incidents beforehand. Though my previous complaints about the ringtone suddenly become muted or slow down itself is still unsolved and still happening. Hope somebody can help. These combinations of problems really drive me mad of missing calls and now can't hear anything. Thank you.
I also have checked the unmute all, its still unselected. The speakers are working but just not responding (I think) because it works for a while then it cant produce any sound. This is the proof.
I've also tried plugged in the earphone and still can't hear anything. Can't play the music as you can see, the seconds are not moving in the video. I can't also hear the caller speaking. So please help. This is a disaster.

Even if you didn't drop it, the hardware failure can occur at random. It's part of degrading process in all electronics.
I suggest you submit error report after the issue is reproduced, then take the phone to UBreakIFix or Batteries Plus for a checkup.
I understand how frustrating this is. Here is an article with some troubleshooting steps you can try if the steps provided by @userkaGxyqm76P do not help. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001255 If there is still no sound after completing all of the troubleshooting it is recommended to have the phone evaluated by a certified technician. maybe it's for those with hearing impairment. You won't want any sound leaking out by accident and create an embarrassing situation. not sure what other situation would call for this feature.
I've tried resetting my setting. And it works wonderfully. Luckily I didn't just factory default my phone. Thanks for your help and advices and tips
