Other Mobile DevicesI can probably solve this with a Reset of network settings but would rather not. I have been able to connect to a mobile Hotspot in local area around my workplace for a year without interruption until now these past two weeks. Now when I try to connect I get the two error messages, Failed to connect and Couldn't get IP address. The network provider says that there's no problem on their end. I tried all things like atrempting to Forget the network.
BUT, with my phone, the network is Never really forgotten. With a normal Forget, I would be able to reenter my login credentials and sign back in. The way it stands now, the network only drops to the bottom of the list. When I click on this network again, it just tries to reconnect without asking me for login credentials. Then the error messages again. I've tried restarting the phone several times and disconnecting from wifi and forgetting network. Nothing helps.

Go to the connection select settings select forget network at the bottom. Restart phone and reconnect to the network.

I wrote here that I've tried all of that. Phone not truly forgetting the network because it's ready to attempt a connection again as soon as I click it again. It is supposed to ask for login credentials.

Then you fully haven't forgotten the network. You might click disconnect but there's a option to forget. If u clicked forget and it still trys to log that network then ur only option would be a full network reset.

Don't even bother resetting your network settings. Didn't fix a thing!
