I have a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. I am in a lot of group texts, but when there are more than 10 people, I cannot respond. I have been told this is a carrier issue, however, my husband and I have the same plan with the same carrier. He has an iPhone SE and does not have this issue. I've searched text settings high and low and can't find anything that might correct this problem.
It should be a carrier issue. The reason your husband doesn't have an issue on iPhone is because texts to and from iPhones don't go through the carrier's network. Apple high Jackson-Young the messages and channels it through their servers where they keep his number hostage.
I think you might be right, even though it really makes no logical sense. But my carrier customer service was less than helpful. Their answer was to just send the same thing too multiple smaller groups. Which is only "helpful" if I'm initiating the groups, which I'm not. So for now I'm stuck, but we'll see. Thanks for the insight, though.
