Suddenly, two A71 5G phones exhibited charging issues. Phones are only 14 months old.  Neither phone will fast charge and one rarely charges at all with the OEM charger/cable.
Help!

Please check the USB port for any dirt or dust and then also check the cables to ensure that it's not affected your charging ability

Cleaned the port. The cable works in my Belkin surge protector but only at slow charging rate which is to be expected.

Have you tried to run the Samsung members application diagnostic tool to check your device

Yes. Battery is good. "Cable charging" doesn't always show it's connected and when it does, charging stops within a few seconds.

It may be a bad Power cable, if possible do you have any extra cables that you can test

Unfortunately, no C to C cables. Got some ordered.

If you do order one, the cheapest is not always the best option, and you don't necessarily need to buy a Samsung OEM cable, Anker,and Rampow plus other brands are perfectly compatible and they come in lengths up to 10 feet or so
