Greetings,

I've just purchased a Samsung Galaxy A01 and, after several exhaustive hours, have finally set it up to my satisfaction.  At the same time, my wife's phone blew up so we purchased another Galaxy A01 for her.  Here's my question:  Can I back up my Galaxy to (fill in the blank) and then copy all of its settings, apps etc., to my wife's new phone?  It would be a HUGE time saver if this could be done.  Thank you in advance for your comments.

I'm not entirely sure if I understood your question, but I believe you're trying to copy your settings to your wife's new phone.

When your wife got her new phone you had the option to set up the new device. It would have prompted you to copy setting from and old device this would have been a good chance to copy your A01 settings to her Galaxy Device.

You can go to Samsung switch in your settings and attempt to copy over your settings onto her Galaxy smart phone.

I'm not entirely sure if this will work hopefully it does though, best of luck and welcome to the Samsung Family.

To the best of my knowledge, you could theoretically do what you're describing, but your Samsung account may have to be registered on your wife's phone. This might cause issues with syncing etc. I haven't really explored this as an option for setting up a new phone. SmartSwitch on a computer could be an option too. You might be able select specific data (phone settings) to copy over without needing to register your account to her phone. This would probably be your best bet to try out first. šŸ™‚
