Disappointed with the memory capacity on the Galaxy A01

I am really disappointed with the memory capacity of the a01 galaxy Samsung mobile phone....I put in a new sd card cause the storage was running out on me ....little did I know that it is not able to be used as a primary storage so I'm stuck with a phone I can not download my apps on due to storage ........so if their is a way and someone could shed some light on how to make that selection please let me know ......its hard to believe that the memory  is not upgradable....my bad for not searching the matter out before I purchased the phone I just assumed that it was cause their was a place for an sd card....

This is a Google limitation, not Samsung, its like this on Android 10+, you can switch a few apps to external storage by long pressing on it and opening the app info tab and selecting "storage " and if there is a drop down arrow, select external, if there isn't then you cannot move it to a SD card. Hope this helps.

This is a Google limitation, not Samsung, its like this on Android 10+, you can switch a few apps to external storage by long pressing on it and opening the app info tab and selecting "storage " and if there is a drop down arrow, select external, if there isn't then you cannot move it to a SD card.
