Galaxy A5 - Aug 2020 update causing screen problems

I allowed the automatic install of the most recent update a couple of days ago.


My phone was working just fine before.  


Now when I am on video calls it sometimes switched to full screen and I lose access to all controls and cannot minimise screen or hang up call.  Can't do anything unless the other party ends to call, or I turn the power off.


I am not aware of changing any settings that could cause this, so I am assuming it was the update.
