Did you guys ever come up with a solution to this problem. I've tried everything like many of these folks. I really don't understand this and why it's so hard to fix.
I have reset network settings and also cleared cache and data in system bluetooth app. Pretty much does nothing to fix issue. As I mentioned earlier I bought myself and my wife an A50 with same issue on both.
Have you verified the software is up to date for the Bluetooth systems you are connecting to? Is this only with the car Bluetooth systems? Do either of the systems use Android Auto?
This is not the problem. It's the phone. As everyone has already stated, the problems started with the phone. I've had 2 phones work perfectly fine with my car and watch. Not this one. It's THE PHONE!
Never thought about bluetooth system on receiving units. And yes they both are car audio devices but not Android auto. Not really sure how to connect these aftermarket head units online to do any updates or of that is even possible. Neither one is a cheap unit. They both functioned correctly using our LG V series phones just last week.
I have also experienced the same problem with a Kia Forte 5 EX 2013 that has a standard bluetooth radio, no apple car play, no Android Auto. I can pair a Samsung Galaxy S2 10 times out of 10 but when I try with the A50, I am able to pair it with my Kia only once and as soon as I leave the car and come back few hours later, the car radio is unable to pair with the phone. I've returned the A50 and get a full refund because of that. Kia told me that there was no Bluetooth firmware update to do on my car radio.
