Well, I've run into a couple of snags I could use a little help running down.  Need feedback quickly, so if anyone has a clue, please pass it along.

Number 1: I can't seem to figure out how to access the (so-called) Secure Folder. I've deposited a couple of important things in it, but can't find the darn thing when I want to revisit them. Where is it, and/or how do I open it up?

Number 2: and this is actually the most important one. I've been gifted a new 512 GB micro SD card for my phone. I've been using my old 32GB micro card, and have about 10GB of info on there that I've moved there or is written there by various apps (like the camera). Now, I'm itching to install this new card, but don't want to lose the data on the old one. Ideally what I'd like to do is to copy or move all the info back onto the device, then to wipe the 32GB card, then format and restore the data from the backup (or whatever form it takes) to the new SD card.

I know this should be a rather simple project, but, in truth, I'm an older man, live in a rest home, and get a little slow sometimes. Lately, my "Senior Moments" have increased in frequency, so please - only simple answers. B-)

There is one other little item I could use some help on. I just can't remember it at this moment in time. Hopefully, it'll come back to me and not at 2am in the middle of a nice dream!

Ahaaa! I just remembered. I keep getting notices about the new software update. It won't download it because I have no WiFi at the moment. Been out for about 2 weeks now. Don't know when or even if we'll get it back. Where I live is VERY remote and the rest home has a very old wifi system. Our administrator has only held that position for a little over a year, and was the director of Nursing (DON) for 15 years prior to that. What I'm saying is that she is not savvy about this stuff at all. Doesn't want to be, either. The Corp. Has decided we need a new IP. So they sent their man to meet up with the new Rep last week. But the Corp guy waited all day, and the new IP guy never showed. So when/if we ever get WiFi back is up in the air. That having been said, here is question #3:

I'm sick and tired of getting these update questions. Is there a way to download these using Data? I can't seem to locate the switch that would do that. We may or may not get WiFi back this next week. Who knows? But I'd like to go ahead and get it done ASAP!

Many Thanks,
Bill

For issue number 2, you could always hook up to a computer and make a new folder on your desktop called "phone SD" or something. Then copy the content from your SD card to that folder. Install the new one and put it all back. Good luck sir

To find secure folder go to settings biometric and security click secure folder log in then flip on add to Home screen. It should also be in the Quick panel. As far as the update check with one of your neighbors in the home that has a smartphone, and ask if they have mobile hotspot it's in the connection settings. Then you can use their hotspot as your source for wifi.

For the SD card I would try transfer everything back to the phone swap cards then transfer to the new card.

I have repeatedly spoken to samsung.com specialist about the fact that I can not update software using wifi and that I am also rural with no wifi. I can however have a my husband turn on his Hotspot and use that to download the software on my phone which makes no sense because the reason they say I can't do it using data is the cell service isn't fast enougj... well we just used a phone to hook to a phone in order to download the software ...whatever.... talking to samsung is like driving in a circle for hours. The bottom line ... you need wifi in some compaticy...you could go to tour local public library
