Hello, I am using a Samsung A22 4G and I have always had my hotspot on it working fine whether I am using 2.4ghz or 5ghz. But after the OneUI 5 (Android 13) update, the hotspot won't turn on if the 5ghz is selected.

Is there a way to resolve this issue? If no, then how do I downgrade my firmware to OneUI 4.1?

Hello, @Dan_B, and welcome to the Community! I am sorry to hear your hotspot is not working with the 5ghz. First thing to try is Safe Mode, to see if a third-party application may be causing this behavior. You can utilize this link for Safe Mode: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062983/

The next thing to try is resetting your network settings, which can help improve your network connections. Although this guide is for the UK and the S21, the same steps apply here as well for your A22: https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-reset-network-settings-on-the-galaxy-s21/

If resetting the network settings did not help, it may be time to try a factory reset. Follow this guide carefully, especially on backing up important files and data on the phone, before going through with this, as it will wipe the device to factory settings: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

Lastly, if all troubleshooting was not successful, it may be time to contact your carrier, as they manage your cellular service.
