Phone is carrier locked by boost mobile trying to use a different company's sim card how do I unlock my phone?

If the phone is Carrier locked the only way you can use it is Ask Boost to unlock it ,the phone has to be paid off completely, after they unlock your phone then you can use it with a Different carrier, please see the attached link for Boost mobile https://www.boostmobile.com/support/faq/phones-devices/unlocking-policy.html
