Hi. I have an Android Galaxy A14 and I have had issues with a few duplicate apps. Samsung Gallery and T-Mobile Scam Shield off the top of my head.
I've noticed 2 apps that have the same name again, yet different symbols. Android System. Is this normal?? Do they have different functions. One has zero usage. See screen shots. Thanks in advance!

I also have 7 Gestural Navigation apps in my system apps. Also, normal??

@Anonymous Can't speak for the T-Mobile item but having 2 Gallery and 2 Android System in the Apps list is normal.

@Anonymous All the "duplicate" apps that you show in your post are normal.

I've had several Galaxies in the past and know about the secure folder but it's nowhere to be found on this phone. I'd tried looking up whether or not this phone came with that feature and I found it did not? So no. I don't have it active as it's not a feature, at least I've found, on my device.
I've also questioned my carrier about a visual voice-mail app that seems to be a system app on my phone which I bought from Metro by T-mobile brand new but is not Metros Visual voice-mail and furthermore when I opened it, the instructions were to dial *86 to access my voice-mail. From having bothered Verizon and T-Mobile I know that is a Verizon voice-mail short code and when dialed from my phone does nothing. Do Samsung Galaxies come with pre-installed visual voice-mail. I've just deactivated it and installed Metros visual voice-mail. Just odd it has a verizon voice mail short code associated with it.
Several things on this Galaxy device I never encountered with my previous Galaxt devices. Just trying to figure out if all these things are normal or if I have a defective phone, or possibly malware even. I have screen shots of everything mentioned and contacted support on a couple issues with little help.
