As someone who's used the cameras just fine with architure scanning and object scanning apps the detail really pulls through on my phone. However, the scans could come out cleaner with lidar and a lot of the apps I use have pro features that I'm sign-up for but aren't able to use because they are lidar dependent. I have a camera with lidar that connects to my laptop that works okay but isn't as convenient or as practical. I really don't want to get an apple phone just for that sensor on a phone though.
Think it is on s10 and 20 but they quit using it bc people didn't "use it" .... it sucks but I do like my s20fe for the triple lens thing but light sensor is nice
