My Bluetooth on my phone doesn't stay on so I can pair a device, it automatically goes off. I always had my ear buds paired to my phone.  I'm wondering if I disrupted it when I removed some apps. What can I do to repair it? When I go to Bluetooth in my settings it is faded out rather than dark texted.

Go to settings, apps, just above the first app on the list it says your apps...to the right are dots to click...from there toggle on show system settings. Now go look down the app list for your Bluetooth. Open the app, go to storage, clear data! This will reset your complete bluetooth back to start.

Still not working. The Bluetooth not only doesn't stay on, but it's not recognizing any device. As I mentioned in my post above, the device I want to pair is ear buds I've always been using with this phone.

My Bluetooth is working now. I think I just need to restart my phone after clearing the Bluetooth data.
