Recently it takes almost 10 seconds for my power button to kick in. Any thoughts? Tried safe mode, no effects.

It can be frustrating with your power button not working properly. Since you are still experiencing the same symptoms in safe mode, service on your device is recommended. Sounds like there may be something wrong with the physical power button.

Exactly. Are you referring to the time it takes AFTER you've pressed the power button or the time it takes to "POWER OFF/RESTART/EMERGENCY MODE OFF" then shut down the apps running in the background in order to proceed and execute the action(s) you're requesting?
