Recently, I had my RCS messages disappear after a One UI update. Has this happened to anyone else? What could be the cause? I'm using the default Google Messaging app.
It might just be a Google outage. You could try Settings>General management>Reset>Reset network settings. This will reboot your mobile connection, but it will also clear all Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections/settings and you will have to reestablish them afterward.
Is it possible that the receiver could have caused the issue? They have been having some issues with their carrier, and aren't always receiving texts/calls. I'm not sure how that would effect RCS on my side though
I highly doubt the issues they were experiencing were able to impact your ability to connect to RCS services in any way.
