I can tell you from first hand experience, that it's always good to let your Battery get as law as possible before you charge. It's also good to only Rapid Charge when it's necessary.
Other charging patterns will contribute to depreciation of the Battery. Over charging makes the Battery swell, and causes issues. Rapid charging often causes depreciating in a short few months. The amount of drain on the Battery also depends on configuration and apps on use. We all need the best batt. life possible, but configuration and charging habits are a good key to make your phone last.
