Read receipts now just green with no delivery report?

Phone went from blue "read" and "delivered " messages to green with no report? How do I get it back? I did not change anything. Galaxy A13

If you are using Google Messages they have updated the app and are not using the words Read or Delivered anymore

I'm having the same issue. It's making me nervous, honestly. Some people I text show "delivered" and "read," some don't. If you find out what's happening, and/or get it fixed, please give me a heads up? Thanks.

Mine is working again?
I don't understand, changed nothing on my phone ,some days it works other days it doesn't??
