How can I customize my Samsung Galaxy A71 5G aka Samsung SM-A716U to see when text recipient has read my text? Thank you.

Messages settings >more setting >multimedia messages >enable show me when read

Keep in mind... the person at the other end has to have Chat features enabled, otherwise it won't work
