Hey guys, can anyone please help me. I am in need of help.

My phone's touch screen won't work. I dropped it in water but literally only for 2 sec and then after a few minutes, my phone screen stopped working but before all of that happened my phone was overheating and it sent me a notification on all the things I should do to my phone to cool it down.

All in all my screen is not working, I feel like I've done everything I could but it is still not working. Everything about the phone still works, it is just the screen that doesn't. Please help me.

Honestly, I'd put that phone in a bag of Rice. It'll absorb the moisture. I've recovered many things that have been soaked ie remotes, game controllers devices, mouse, keyboards etc. You'll void the Warranty if you open up the device, but if you don't are, open it and use intense light to view the circuits and other components. It'll be obvious what got wet, and use a magnifier if it helps. Then get qtips and alcohol and start cleaning the areas tha you notice the water spots. A fine needle could also be of use in this situation as well. You'll have to reglue the back on afterwards.
