Samsung Galaxy A53 SMS issues

Why is it that some recipients, the chat features are working and apparently sending as RCS but other numbers, it sends as normal SMS with no option to send as RCS? If they're using an iPhone and that's why it sends as normal SMS, how can I be sure the person is getting the text? Do I have to get an iPhone to reliably reach these people?

Also, both of the posts I've submitted on this forum today give me an error "Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."

I'm not adding ANY html to my post. I have to click 'HTML' in the tools above and there are hundreds of lines of HTML code.

People on Android that have RCS the message will be sent as chat. For other phones the most you can do is see "delivered". I am using Google messages app. If you go to settings from within the app, then advanced, in there you can enable sms delivery notification.

From what I can tell, I don't think that works either. I've checked multiple text conversations that were sent as SMS and all I can see is the time they were Sent. I even had someone reply to my text and I still couldn't see the Delivered or Read details.

I have sms delivery report enabled and I do see "delivered" when texting non RCS users. You won't see when message is read, only delivered.

So what happens if it only displays Sent after hours or days? Does that mean it didn't get delivered? This is happening for at least 50 recipients that I'm manually texting. How can I have confidence these texts are really being delivered?

I also have "automatically resend as sms" enabled under chat features. At times I have noticed even if a user is using RCS, may not have a stable connection and not receiving chat messages.
