Other Mobile Devices
Here is an issue I have discovered:
I have 1 Samsung account which has two separate devices listed in it. Samsung Cloud has always recognized each phone separately and backed up each Gallery as such.
With the offload of Gallery to One Drive Cloud, One Drive only recognizes the Samsung account itself, not each phone listed on the account.
I discovered this when I entered the email for my device as a new Microsoft account email. Everything backed up to the cloud nicely, or so I thought, until I picked up my other phone. I had created a separate Microsoft account for the email on that phone. When I opened the One Drive on that phone, to my horror, it had already logged itself in as the other phone's account and all it's photos were showing there!
Thank God they are both my own phones! This would have been a security nightmare had the other phone belonged to another family member! I discovered covered that by going to the Microsoft account and unblinking it from my device and then logging in on the other device with the other Microsoft account that it did the same thing in reverse.
This is a COLOSSAL EPIC FAIL on the part of Samsung, as they have one account for all devices, televisions, refrigerators, tablets, phones, Chromebooks, Computers etc, which all can contain photos and some even run Windows. But not all Samsung users use Microsoft products (Apple iOS, Linux, or no computer at all). Microsoft also has one account for all devices, but their computers and such can be listed separately online.
How can this problematic issue be resolved? I do not use a computer at all and so do not use Microsoft products nor do I use the Link to Windows function. I only made the Microsoft account because Samsung Cloud forced me to to continue backup functionality. Now it is an issue.
Any Samsung develops out there have a resolution to this?

I have since brought this unique Samsung issue up to the Microsoft people through my Windows Feedback hub, as it seems to be the unique way they choose to link to the device which impedes using one Samsung account across many devices owned. Our Samsung accounts list by phone names, the Microsoft account, even if logged in with the specific phones email account links only to the main Samsung account email. It cannot be used normally as Microsoft ASSUMES one account across all devices is superior. It gets even worse if you have something Microsoft separate hidden in your Secure Folder and something else Microsoft in a Work Profile in one phone. Not only will each account log out the other in that one phone causing a massive cross-profile security breach by allowing photos and files to show up in the other profile partitions, but they will also show in the One Drive of any other device listed as registered & wned by that Samsung account. It is a true Security nightmate.

Have you tried it to see that I am telling the truth? Even if you log out on the device, you have to go online to Microsoft to unlink it from your Samsung account on the phone that you do not want to see yourinformation. That couldbevery difficult if the person has already seen photos they should not have.
