I like my watch active 2. Recently there was a huge update for adding ECG and fall detection among other things. Cool. But I noticed something that was missing. Calories burned. I noticed this because I never move my widgets on the watch and I loved the samsung health widget which displayed three important things: heart rate, calories burned, and exercises.
I spent $250 USD for this device mainly to track 3 things:
2. Exercise metrics (distance, calories, etc)
3. Calories burned (not by exercise, but by a measurement of metabolic rate)
I understand that there is the samsung health app on the phone, which you can find this information there. Which the same goes for heart rate measurement, steps, etc.
But the point of me purchasing said device was to keep it with me and measure all this data on my wrist. And be able to determine my fitness level and health overall.
Any chance this feature will come back? Other wise this is very disappointing.
