Sim card switch

Hi community. I recently lost my device a Galaxy J7, was found an returned. But I noticed that it had a different sim card with another phone number registered on it. I call and text that number but no one ever answers . How do I find out who this sim card belongs to. An why the switch. That's kinda scary if there's someone trying to monitor my device use? Or why would someone do that sim switch for????

Re: Sim card switch

That's crazy. Maybe they put another sim card in to see if it would work and they could just steal the phone? But if that's the case, the phone either didn't work after the sim switch, or they realized that it was a J7 instead of an S-series phone or something super, super pricy.

I'm sorry that this happened to you =(

Re: Sim card switch

probably cause they were using your phone or testing if it worked. go to your carrier and get a new sim and your old number back.

Follow @Wassep 's advice. Contact your carrier and they will give you a SIM with your account information and phone number.
