I updated my phone and after my sim card kept going in and out like it connect and all of sudden say no sim and now it want connect at a

They told me it was the sim card and to order another one so I did that but it's n ok t working either

It's a software issue. Not a SIM or carrier issue. I have yet to see a fix for this from Samsung.

Same here. I updated my phone recently, got one UI 6. And my slot 1 stops working.

If I have a sim card installed to slot 1 then there is no service even if phone is showing Egde and signal level in notification area. Sim status is "connecting".

If I install same sim card to slot 2 then everything works fine!

I went to carrier office and we tried few different sim cards there, got same result. Nothing works in slot 1 and slot 2 works fine. Again, it is happened after update.

So this is definitely a software bug. 

Very very frustrated and disappointed. Samsung Mobile division and QA - this is terrible! 

I was Samsung user for a decade but now I'd consider other manufacturers.
