Last week I upgraded to IOS 11.0.1 Big Sur on my iMac. My Galaxy S10 wil not connect to Smart Switch since then. The window says that I have to wait for a while after restart for it to connect. That is the case after a restart, but the phone has been on for hours & will not connect to Smart Switch. It has to be an issue with the latest IOS Upgrade.
i am running into the same issue. just wonder how samsung knew about big sur for over a year and still has not updated their smart switch software. truly incredible the lack of concern or preparedness.

I'm in the same boat. I'd really appreciate a solution. I just switched to an S10e from my iPhone X, b/c I missed the headphone jack. I hoped for a smoother transition to android. If this doesn't get resolved soon, I'll be shopping for a PC and tablet and be done with Apple altogether.
