Hello, It can be puzzling when some of the notification sounds are removed. When you look under Settings>Sounds and vibration and select Notification sound, there will categories. Under the category Custom, sounds do have a line next to them. Selecting the line removes the tones from the phone. There is not an option to restore the sounds.

If these are media files you placed on the phone, they have to be in the root folders of ringtones, or Notifications before they will appear to be set as a notification or ringtone.

These were on the phone when I bought it. I'm thinking these were deleted after a software upgrade

Software updates do not delete information from your phone. They are probably there, you just need to search for them.

Thank you for your quick responses but where would they be? I've looked in the folders but could not find them. These sounds had a red line next to them. When it is selected, the sound goes away. I haven't touched it
