I recently got my Samsung Galaxy A53 due to my previous phone battery starting to go bad and it's one the newest phones that can still use micro SD cards.
I don't completely mind that it doesn't have an audio jack slot, but when my wireless headphones are dead, I still wana listen to music and stuff, so I got a type-c wired earbuds, but every time I plug them in I get a "'the connected USB device isn't supported". Granted I got them from dollar tree, but you'd think that by such devices being created for such jackless phones they'd come with support and I'm pretty sure apple didn't have such issues when they did similar.

You need quality headphones for a quality device. Also, you can't use just any USB-C wired headphones. For this device you need a set that supports a DAC (Digital -to -analog converter).
