I am interested in buying the Unlocked Galaxy A51 5G.  On the purchase page for the phone is the following note:

AT&T customers: The Unlocked Galaxy A51 5G is not currently compatible with the AT&T 5G network but will work with AT&T’s 4G LTE service. Please consider the AT&T 5G-ready Galaxy A51 5G.

I am currently a Cricket wireless customer (Cricket uses the AT&T network) and I am using an unlocked GSM device.  Does this mean that I will not be able to get 5G with this phone  on my carrier?

Also, the above note states that the A51 5G is not currently compatible.  Does that mean this it will be compatible someday via a software update or will it require newer hardware (basically a new, possible different phone)?
