What is the purpose of the search for chatbots in the messaging app? It's frustrating that the feature won't work for me, it seems like it might be interesting or helpful?

Can anyone in the galaxy help me out?

I love my phone, I'm never going back to my previous brands, lol.
Thanks Luana Branscom

I have the A52 5G When you first tried to use it did you receive the Samsung disclaimer stating that Samsung is not viable for the chatbot search it should say that your chatbot search feature falls under the terms and conditions of your service provider and Samsung except snow fault in any complications yada yada yada because you have to accept that before it allows you to use it I haven't used it myself but from what it seems like if you go into the search for chatbot it's going to give you another search bar and if I was to take an educated guess you're supposed to type in the phone number or whatever information is given for the sender of the specific message and hit search in my guess would be it's function is to tell you whether or not that specific unrecognized sender is just a chatbot or from a different source probably wouldn't say what the different source is just whether or not you've received the message from a chatbot that would be my best guess

Who told them to put this on my phone and why? It came on when I last updated it and I am thoroughly frustrated. I'm ready to get rid of this stupid phone just because of this.

Hi
You can use this for messaging instead of Samsung's version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.messaging

Hope this helps

I know right it got under my skin too I was a faithful user of the scheduled Auto restarts and it worked just fine the way it said it would and all of a sudden I'm going through the optimization stuff and checking out new features and I randomly noticed that there's no schedule Auto restart anymore now it's Auto optimize and I really didn't like how it sounded in the first place it just didn't sound really sufficient but regardless of that I turned it on anyway because really what choice did I have it was the closest thing they had to scheduling Auto restarts and it's a really useful function because it's really handy to help your phone remain healthy but who has the brain space in today's world to remember something like restarting your phone once a week if you do it's usually for other reasons not because you're trying to keep your phone healthy so I turned it on and ever since the day I turned on it hasn't restarted my phone once it's essentially useless I feel like when it comes to adding features and people try them and they get feedback that's cool but I feel like I'm more sufficient way of doing things would be if you're going to replace a function with essentially the same kind of function but trying to get it to do a bunch of other stuff if I was Samsung I would put feelers out there to see what the consumers think about removing that function cuz otherwise how well do you realize how important that function is to your customers cuz I definitely would have gave it a thumbs down if I was asked about it pre- upgrade I don't know what do I know they're a big company and I just buy the products so how important am I really LOL
