So just a rant and lots of disappointment. Apparently when you get one of the Samsung promotions you have to register. I was never told that when ordering. I never received an email telling me to do that. Now the promotion is expired and I am screwed. Not very good PR on Samsung's part. Seems like a bit of a scam. The lady on the phone was not very sympathetic to my cause. Anybody else experience this bull? Thanks.

I'm pulling my hair out talking to these people. I did register my product. I received a follow-up email from Samsung more or less a receipt letting me know they received they got all my info for the promotion. About 2 weeks later I received another email from them saying your gift is on it's way. Months went by (this was from black Friday 2017) nothing. I called them told me that they sent the code to my email on December 6th 2017. Well that's a lie right there because I checked my emails hourly and there was nothing there. So they end up sending me 3 emails with the same Google Play code on it, when I entered the code in Google Play on my tablet on my computer and on my phone it all came up the same that is it was expired. Samsung just sent this email on June 3rd in the email it says credit must be added to your Google Play account by April 30th 2018 it was 3 months ago so they sent me expired code. I have been on the phone arguing with them for this promotion card they should have never offered it if they're not going to give it out. It's all a scam. Their promotions are fraud just to get you to buy their products.

Such a shame, i hope samsung really work on this soon.
Atleast this will hopefully get on a PR's desk to get working on asap.
Hoping a easy fix for you guys.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Samsung does NOT honor it's promotions. We bought two 9s phones and were supposed to get two free headphones. We registered our phones the day we received them. Which was the day after they were released. We made several calls to them asking when the headphones would be sent. Each time we were told “soon”. The last time we checked – around October – we were told that we were not in their system. Each time before that they found us in their system. The free headphone was a BIG deciding factor on buying these phones.
It’s disappointing that such a large company would not honor their promotions. These phones will be last items with the SAMSUNG name on them that I will ever purchase.
