QLED and The Frame TVs

Samsung knows there is a problem with 2024 Frame Tv models that has been widely discussed online and in this community.  Something was done in 2024, because earlier models (including 3 that I have) worked perfectly with Apple TV.  And, Samsung clearly realized what the problem was and fixed it for 2025!  My 2025 Frame also works perfectly with my Apple TV.  I had 2 service requests scheduled, but no tech ever showed up.  On the third request, a technician made a determination that no defect was found, even though the 85” Frame would not operate as my 3 prior 85” models had done. Samsung can call it an NDF, but that is just an attempt to cover up the defect that Samsung is fully aware of.  I don't want the defective 85" Frame if it will not work the same way as my 2023 and 2025 models do!  I have contacted the Samsung CEO, asking to either be provided a firmware/software update to solve the issue, or to swap my 2024 model for the 2025 version (and I offered to pay any price difference).  I have virtually no confidence that Samsung will come through for me, even though I currently own 12 Samsung TVs in two separate locations.

It's frustrating that Apple locks its users behind a walled garden, which can cause issues with other devices that are not produced by Apple. Though this does make for a more secure Apple ecosystem, it's not always what the customer wants.

This also sometimes happens between Google/Android and Microsoft.

You must work for Samsung!  The problem is Samsung, not Apple.  There is a problem with Samsung Frame TVs that didn’t exist until their 2024 models.  They were aware of the problem, and fixed it in 2025, but refuse to help customers who bought in 2025 but unknowingly got a 2024 model that simply does not function properly!
