QLED and The Frame TVs
Model QN65S90DAFXZA definite problems after the update .. now when using eARC with my Anthem AVM70 it reverts back to TV sound and sometimes will not even show the avm70 as a device for sound. Interestingly if I run the eARC out to my DAC it never reverts to tv sound, but the DAC is only 2 channel so that does not do me much good as a work around.
Set Up: Ruku ran directly into TV via HDMI, eARC from TV to AVM70 eARC.
Tried running the Roku directly into AVM, then the sound would be there for a few seconds disappear for a few seconds and repeat the cycle, so I could not even use that as a work around.
The whole issue is very intermittent sometime will work correctly for hours other times you can not get it to stay on the AVM70 sound for more than a few seconds, sometimes when on the AVM the TV will not change the volume on the AVM, other times it will, other times when on AVM70 you get no sound at all.
All these issues cropped up after the update, and Samsung in all their infinite wisdom does not let you roll back an update, so I am stuck with this mess until they put out a (hopefully better) update patch. Should have known better to have not waited to update until the update had been out a while.

QLED and The Frame TVsI'm having the same issue with my 77" S90D. I mainly use apps from the TV with my Yamaha RX-V4A. It seems like if I switch the output of the surround sound to something else for too long, the TV thinks the connection is faulty and refuses to play any sound.
