QLED and The Frame TVs
I've had this T.V. for a year now. And I absolutely love it. However I notice now that during dark scenes their are shadowy light splotches in parts of the screen. Can anyone explain to me why that is happening. Appreciate any help.

QLED TVs are LCD TVs that use a backlight to illuminate the picture. In dark scenes, the TV tries to dim the backlights, but it can never turn them off completely (unlike OLED). If the panel's backlight diffusion is not perfectly uniform, the light seeps through in patches, causing "cloudy" or "shadowy" splotches.
