QLED and The Frame TVs

I’ve only just read all the posts and realised root of issues may be an update. My frame started behaving oddly, freezing, skipping and then i got nothing but art mode. Bought a replacement box, no difference, replaced remote control, nothing; friend gave me replacement cable and I’ve only just got help to put that in thinking it would resolve it but no, nothing. i can screen mirror, sometimes artwork shows but no channel guide, no power on and off other than removing and replacing power cable. Totally bizarre. Have tested cable and box components with a friend who has the same and they are fine. If the monitor was the issue, I wouldn’t get a picture at all so it’s not that, occasionally it flicks onto apple tv for some reason, the picture is fine. It must be software related but without being able to access settings or anything I’m unlikely to be able to resolve this on my own. Am I right, there isn’t a reset button on the frame? That’snthe only thing i can think of left to do but i don’t think there is one. Expensive piece of junk, no tv since mid-July, absolutely ridiculous.

QLED and The Frame TVs

Hello, Ruth! You've tried some great troubleshooting steps to start off here. I would recommend trying a factory reset of the television. You can do that by following the steps here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00077524/

From there, if you're still having issues with the television freezing and apps crashing This may indicate an internal component issue, and we would recommend getting the service set up. You can set up service by visiting http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service, or you can call 1-800-726-7864 to speak with a live representative to set up service or feel free to PM a moderator directly.
