QLED and The Frame TVs

I have a Samsung q8f 50 inch Samsung tv. It won't recognize my Nintendo switch 2, which was recently released on June 5 2025, my tv won't recognize that it's a Nintendo switch 2, I can still play it though but it won't activate game mode. I don't know if Samsung has made an update that recognizes the Nintendo switch 2. My tv can easily recognize my Xbox series x, ps5 and Nintendo switch 1, and it activates game mode instantly, help please and thank you

Make sure your tv is on and connected to Wi-Fi. Make sure hdmi cec and hdmi input Plus is turned on for the hdmi port your using. Now leave the one remote face the Nintendo while everything is on unplug the hdmi wat 60 seconds than plug the hdmi back in. If that doesn't work it should but if not use the manual remote option.

Not OP, but I'm having the same trouble with a 2020 model Samsung Crystal UHD TV, and what do you mean by manual remote option? That never stays since I got at least 3 game consoles I swap between every now and then and I only have 2 HDMI ports on my TV.

Where you manually add the device, you do so in your remote's universal control area by manually inputting the device connected via HDMI.XeNDd32sq7.jpg3RsdFbzUWV.jpg

I don't think I have a universal control area. Again, it's a 2020 model of the Crystal UHD line(I think TU7000), so it's kinda old. I wouldn't be surprised if it's no longer supported.

Try looking for the connected devices tabs. Or on the input menu click the input see in a edit tab is available

Connected Device list only shows stuff that were connected via Bluetooth. There IS an edit tab in the Source Selection thing, but it doesn't show any specific console for it. Just generic options. And even then, once I disconnect the HDMI cord to connect to something else, that saved setting is gone.

Heck, might as well mention this even if it might not be a TV issue(and it's another issue entirely), but I opted to record some stuff with my Avermedia Live Gamer Portable 2 Plus capture card, and whether I turn on Game Mode or leave it off, the screen suddenly has the colors so incredibly saturated, and even though it stops when the console dims the screen, no settings in the TV or Switch 2 fixes it.

I have tried this, and it does not help. The manual connection menu requires you to select a brand, and Nintendo is not an option. You cannot continue without selecting a brand and no correct option is available.

I think the console needs an update. Switch 1 did the same thing at first, but about 2 weeks later or so my TB recognized it
