QLED and The Frame TVs

I just got a new 55" Class QLED 4K Q60D and I absolutely love it, but when I watch movies on Prime, I have black bars all the way across the top and bottom of the screen about 4 inches thick. When I go to settings - picture - it says the resizing is not available. My last Samsung tv always filled the screen automatically. What am I missing?

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! Most movies will have the on them as they are filmed that way.  You can change the picture size by going to Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Size Settings. If this doesn't work, some resolutions and streaming limit, these options, please refer to your user manual below.  Please also note that this will cut off some of the picture of the movie as it will zoom it to take the black bars away.

That would be the format sometimes called wide screen or 16:9

Strange, a few years ago, tvs offered a couple different sizes you could switch to, and earlier today, my picture size option said was "unavailable", but it just let me turn on the option to "fit to screen", it was on 16:9 before I switched. I think it will work now.
