I have posted on this issue once before, but I have new information and that post has been locked.
I have a Samsung 50-Inch Class QLED Q80B Series - 4K UHD Direct Full Array Quantum HDR 8X Smart TV I bought in 2022 and the picture is washed out and red colors are far too strong, almost like they're glowing and drowning out nearby colors. This happens on all modes, TV, Streaming, DVDs, etc.
I have done as suggested in the other thread, but to no avail. However, I have since noticed that the TV, when first turned on, appears to have no problems. It takes a couple of hours before the washed out look comes back. Further, sometimes, that washed out look seems to go away - or, at least, mitigate somewhat, but then return.
Rather than what seems to be a bot resorting to, "call a TV repairman," I wonder if anyone has some actual help.
Thanks in advance!

QLED and The Frame TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend trying a factory reset on the TV. After that you can try other preset settings. But as you said that the issue is not appearing while watching at the beginning, this may be something that will require service. Depending on your warranty, you will have a few options.
- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators or you can call in directly at 1-800- 726-7864 with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.
