Every time I boot up my PS5, the TV switches to Game Mode, which is great. No issue there.
But every time it does that, it also changes the SOUND mode to Game Mode as well, which sounds like absolute trash. Every time I turn on any game system, or even start a different game on the same system, it does this. And to add insult to injury, it doesn't even switch it back when I go to another source.
I've heard people say you can set up a SmartThings routine to change the sound mode with the input change, but unfortunately the only sound option available in SmartThings is Game Mode, which is the exact opposite of what I want. It seems like Samsung is doing everything in their power to make the user experience as terrible as possible for absolutely no reason.

So on black Friday, I purchased a different soundbar from a different manufacturer, and while the TV still says its switching to game mode audio, the new sound bar doesn't actually change settings, thankfully.
Unfortunate that I had to partially leave the otherwise good Samsung architecture for such a nonsenical inconvenience that clearly many people have complained about. A simple software update should be able to fix this, but Samsung still does nothing to address it. They'd rather bleed loyal customers like myself before simply allowing us to disable auto-switching of our audio settings.
