Just purchased Q7F 43in QLED tv.

i have triband wifi that runs my house. some devices on 5G & some on 2.4G currently.

My 5G network appears in network list on tv but will not accept the password.

My older tv's ran fine on 5G but not this one from Samsung.

whats the problem?

it will accept & work on 2.4G but will not connect to the listed 5G network.

In your router settings, one of two things can be wrong. First, you might have "allow new devices to connect" toggled off. The second possibility is that you have blocked that specific IP address for your new TV. The best thing you can do is log into your router's settings and make sure it allows new connections for the network you're trying to connect to. Also, make sure that whatever band you're trying to connect to is supported by your TV's Wi-Fi card. For example, if your router is set to WPA3 security for that channel, you're going to need to switch it to WPA2 security to allow it to connect.
