I have a 43" QLED 4K Q60D television. I use a Q series HW Q60 sound bar. Until this morning I could use my T.V. remote to adjust volume in Q Symphony mode. Now it won't change volume. So I have to use sound bar remote to change volume. If I am using head phones I can use T.V. remote.

QLED and The Frame TVsThank you for sharing this concern with us. I understand how not being able to adjust the volume can be frustrating. This is a common issue that usually indicates a temporary communication glitch between the devices or a settings change. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this.
First, try performing a power cycle for all the devices. A simple power reset can often clear temporary errors and re-establish the connection.
Afterwards, check the Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) Settings. If you are connected via HDMI (ARC), the Anynet+ feature enables single-remote control. Toggling it can reset the connection.
There are additional in-depth troubleshooting steps at the link below. The title mentions no sound, but the troubleshooting steps should also address your specific inquiry.
