I just got a UN65U8000FB less than a week ago. setup was smooth with no issues. Still trying to figure out the Samsung TV vs my normal cable programming but I started getting multiple notifications, sometimes several times a day. Notification states "plug-in manager daemon someone try to kill sfpmd!" Can someone tell me what that means and why I keep getting that same specific notice?

This didn’t work seeing as I just did a factory reset. Because I needed to figure out why one the smart things app says error server not available and also Samsung tv plus constantly says it’s installing. Surprise surprise though, nothing works on it and no apps will install or work. Why is this? Just literally got this tv. The only thing it lets me do is sign in. today I got this notification, yesterday I factory reset it. How do I get the tv to work similar to all other Samsung smart tv’s and my smart monitor? Because it’s frustrating. I’ve just decided to move the Apple TV to it but it wasn’t what I had intended to use it for.

What helped stop the notifications?  Apps are not acting right even though connection is strong. They stop and sign out mid programming

Same issue here. TV was just purchased recently and has received this notification at least once a day since the day I set it up.

same issue with notifications and apps will cut off while watching and go to Home Screen I need help or it’s going to be returned
