QLED and The Frame TVs

I have been in the TV and You program for four months.  I dutifully record and acknowledge all programs the tablet hears.  However, I would say about 50% of the time, the tablet shows the wrong program or TV station.  For instance, I live in Florida, but it keeps showing stations based in New York.  The tablet only recognizes the four main, local broadcast stations and none of the 50+ other broadcast stations available to me with an antenna.  I do not have cable.  It does pickup about 75% of streaming service programs like Netflix, Prime and Paramount+.  The tablet records music on Pandora, so I don't know what to acknowledge on that.  It tries to associate the music with movies and TV shows.  If I listen to Pandora for a couple of hours, I have a LOT  of tablet entries to acknowledge - all with "other" and "none' for the channel/streaming service.  Additionally, I have actually acknowledged tablet recorded shows at 3 am when I'm asleep and nothing is on (weird).

So, more than anything, I would like to know what the purpose of this program is.  If it is some kind of survey, it fails miserably.  If this is some sort of a beta for a new feature where future TV's use this kind of information, Samsung is wasting its time.

Any ideas what is going on here?

@txlombardi It's just tracking users viewing patterns. The data is purchased by companies who create the rankings of shows and provide user viewing data. It is similar to the Nielsen ratings.
