I just got a new 32" Q60AAF 4k TV home yesterday.  I was excited to use it with my PC and with a 4k Firestick, both HMDI.   Immediately upon connecting the HDMI, there were horizontal colored lines and the screen would randomly flicker black.  I tried the Firestick, same thing.  Changing PC resolution didn't fix it.  The Apps don't do it, just HDMI inputs.  I bought a new 4k cable, no change.  I factory reset, no change.  Texted Samsung Support went through everything, but strangely the device won't accept firmware upgrades or recognize that any firmware upgrades are needed.  The current firmware is 1420, but the website says the latest in 2120 from Dec 2022.

How do I get the TV to upgrade to the latest firmware?  I followed all the USB instructions and the TV finds the USB stick, scans it for updates, but continues to say the TV has the latest firmware.  Is there another location to get special firmware The file that downloaded was T-KSU2EAKUC_T-NKLAAKUC and has both 2111 firmware and 2120 firmware in it.  None of the other Q60A models have 2 firmware loads.  The firmware on the TV is T-KSU2ESAKUC-1420.9, a slightly different Model Info than the downloaded firmware files on Samsung's site.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out! This is strange that you are having these lines on the screen. I see that you are also trying to update the firmware since you are using the usb to do this. Make sure to only have one firmware version on the USB as it can cause issues having multiple. If this does not fix the issue it could be something with the HDMI port. And this will require service. But as you have just purchased the TV I would recommend taking this back for an exchange.

But if you would like to have service please send us a private message with your full model and serial number. Or if you prefer you can also call in at 1 (800) 726-7864
