Apple TV remote no longer powers off my TV

I recently had a software update pushed to my 65 The Frame TV.  Since the update, instead of going into art mode when I power off the TV, using my Apple TV remote, the screen goes black for a few minutes and then turns on. First time it happened I turned the TV off (I thought) and then went upstairs, a few minutes later Gordon Ramsay is screaming in my family room, I thought someone had broken into my house.  

I deleted the Samsung TV Plus app because I’d read on another forum that this should resolve it, it did not.

This function worked perfectly until the software update. Anybody know to fix this?

Same for me, when the apple TV goes to sleep the art mode is no longer turning on and instead tries to show live TV or something.

I’m having the same problem! Turn off the Apple TV with its remote and frame stays on with live tv!

Me too, what gives Samsung?! Can you tell us how to fix it?

I believe this is intentional as a part of the latest release.
I have the old firmware on a thumb drive and I can't even roll back to it.

You know what they say about good (in the mind of Samsung) intentions…

I had bought another Frame a few days  before they did this and because of this, I returned it as soon as it delivered. This was poor choice on their part
