QLED and The Frame

Bought a new tv last week.

Samsung Frame 43.

Model: QN43LS03RAFXZA

Region: US

SmartThings iOS app 1.6.39-337

TV firmware: T-MSMAKUC-1335.0, B3970101/070104, BT - S

Both phone and TV connected to the same 2.4ghz wi-fi.

I can control tv via the app but when I try using the app in the art mode to upload photos, I get a popup error: To use this function, turn on The Frame and connect The Frame and your smartphone to the same network.

Any thoughts?

Waisted a lot of time troubleshooting.

Ps: Ready to file an FTC claim.

Steps:

Step 3. App fails in Art ModeStep 3. App fails in Art Mode

Hi there,

How did you get access to that specific location of the TV in order to allow your phone?

Thanks in advance

I have tried the various solutions described in this thread but the problem persists. Have re-installed the Smart things app on my iphone (12), the network setup on the tv has been redone. I know both the phone and the tv is on the same network.

Any suggestions?

The recommended option of clicking on the options sprocket in the top right menu is no longer available as that options sprocket is no longer there in the latest software.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 phone with The Frame 70" purchased in 2021.

Here is what finally worked for me:

Delete the TV from SmartThings
Then Reset Network settings on TV
Add back the TV to SmartThings

This problem shouldn't be marked as solved. I'm still running into the issue, and the art mode settings menu mentioned in the solution is completely disabled. I haven't found any way of fixing this. It's super frustrating.
