Similar to other threads I have seen – my TV has the intermittent beeping/chirping sound in the background. Sometimes it is louder than other times and the only source that doesn't cause it is Art mode – its extremely annoying once you notice it, to the point it almost completely ruins the viewing experience.
This is the second set I've had that does it – I've tried hard reset, software update, switching remote feedback off, switching plug sockets, even trying in a different room.
Just had a tech visit and been informed that Samsung 'don't see this as a fault' has anyone who has had this issue found a working fix?
Thanks
Chris

I have the same issue. So far I have tried software update, factory reset, moving to different electrical outlets. The sound seems to come and go in 1-2 minute increments. It doesn’t happen when in art mode, so it doesn’t make sense that it is electrical interference, I would assume that would happen irregularly in any picture mode.

Hoping Samsung can fix this with a software update? Maybe padding the bottom right side of the tv with foam will muffle the noise? Not sure what else to do.

Hi, thanks for the reply – Glad to know its not just mine... the Tech yesterday obviously knew it was a known issue, as he replied immediately that Samsung don't think its a fault.
I feel like it's something to do with the set downloading data or receiving some kind of input. They're going to be reluctant to put any foam in there given how hot these get (have you checked your wall behind the set – mine is displaying burn marks after 3 weeks of use?)
It's definitely frustrating that Samsung don't recognise this... maybe if they actually tried listening to their TV doing it for more than 20 minutes!!
Makes it very hard to recommend and Samsung TVs moving forward.

Hello, same for me on a 55" chassis... no answer from Samsung for the moment... Too bad when I see that the problem is known to everyone, all over the world...

my last samsung if nothing is specified by the company...

In France, they told us that if the sound is not heard at more than 2m, it is not a problem....

but in the same, you can find on the samsung site that they advise you to look at the 55" frame at 1.7m....

so really sad!

Having the same issue with my 65inch Frame that was installed a week ago and two days ago figured out where it was coming from (right hand side when facing the tv where the power button is). I called Samsung and they will send a tech in the coming days. Really annoyed and disappointed as I was excited about this television. Hoping there is a fix.

Hi all, the Samsung contracted tech came out today with a new "receiver" he called it. Basically it's that remote sensor in the lower right hand corner when facing the tv where the noise comes from. Took him about 5 mins to swap out and I've had the TV on for about 20min now and no beeping as it would have started by now. I hope I am not celebrating prematurely but so far it's a good sign. He said he never encountered this before but a Samsung sr tech sent them the part and told them to swap it out and that's what he did. Samsung really needs to look into this and it's wild they have no idea about this as if they don't pay attention to their own community boards.
