QLED and The FrameCan a Universal Remote Control be programmed to work with my QN55Q70AAFXZA 55" SmartTV Samsung? Specifically, could I program my Verizon FIOS remote?
The Samsung website says something about using your cable tv remote control. It needs to be programmed, of course.
By the way, in choosing a "Board" to post to, there isn't a selection for TVs. Only "Home Theatre". Or is my 55" TV considered a Home Theatre? So I chose "Smart Home Support" which is probably not the correct place. Where is the TV Board? Thanks so much!

QLED and The FrameThanks. I spoke first with Verizon who directed me to Samsung. I haven't spoken or don't know how to contact someone at Samsung, but read on the site about "sync". But it seems that "sync" is for devices and not necessarily the remote control. So I write to this forum. And then I tried fiddling around with the remote and tv. No clue what I did, but now I can only Start and Close the tv with the "TV Power" button. And also only the "Volume" key works to increase and decrease volume. Those are the only functions, which is good. I cannot change channels, which would have been great.
I don't know about other universal remotes (not Verizon). I guess I'll post my inquiry at the "home theatre" board. Any more thoughts appreciated.
