QLED and The FrameHello -
I was looking at 2 different TV's and hoping to get some feedback:
TV #1 - Samsung 75'' Class QN85B Neo QLED 4K
TV #2 - Samsung 75" Class QN90B Neo QLED 4K
The specs are nearly identical but I noticed that on TV#2 (QN90B), the 'LED Panel Type' references 'Neo QLED' but on TV #1 (QN85) it simply shown as 'QLED.' I am confused by this a both are advertised as Neo QLED TV's.
Does anyone know why both models would show 'Neo QLED' but only TV #2 has 'Neo QLED' as the LED Panel Type?
Any feedback would be appreciated
Thanks!

QLED and The FrameThe QN90B is the newer model anyway, if you're considering both just go with the newer model

QLED and The FrameThe main difference between Neo QLED and QLED technology is how backlighting is used to boost the colour and brightness. While QLED relies on LEDs to light the panel, Neo QLED models here use tens of thousands of mini-LEDs spread across the screen that is only 1/40th of the height of traditional LEDs.
